Plug in your BitBox02 using the included USB-C cable. The app will detect the device automatically.
Create Wallet
Follow the app prompts to create a new wallet. The device will generate your seed and backup to MicroSD.
Set Device Password
Choose a device password for unlocking. The touch sliders make password entry intuitive.
Verify Backup
Remove the MicroSD card and store it securely. You can verify your backup works by doing a test restore.

What's the difference between Multi and Bitcoin-only?

Is MicroSD backup secure?
Yes, the backup is encrypted with your device password. Without the correct password, the MicroSD card data is useless. Store the card separately from your device.
