Install the Ellipal mobile app from your device's app store. The app is required for all transactions.
Power On and Create Wallet
Turn on your Titan and select Create Wallet. The device will generate your recovery phrase.
Record Recovery Phrase
Write down the 12 or 24-word recovery phrase displayed on screen. Store it securely offline.
Set Password
Create a device password using the touchscreen. This password is required each time you use the device.
Connect via QR
Open the Ellipal app, scan the QR code displayed on your Titan, and your wallet is ready to receive funds.

How do I send transactions without a connection?
You create the transaction in the mobile app, display it as a QR code, scan it with the Titan, sign it on the device, then scan the signed QR back to the app for broadcasting. Your keys never leave the device.
Is the QR code process slow?
It takes about 30 seconds longer than USB-connected devices. However, the security benefit of complete air-gapping is worth the minor inconvenience.
What happens if the device detects tampering?
The Titan will delete all private keys and become unusable. You can recover your wallet on a new device using your recovery phrase.
How do I update firmware without USB?
